Our love for travel has always gone beyond simply visiting new places. For us, it’s about how a space makes you feel when you arrive — whether you can truly relax, settle in, and feel at home. That belief is what first drew us to home sharing back in 2014, and it continues to guide everything we do today.

With backgrounds rooted in both the East Coast and Costa Rica, travel has always been a meaningful part of our lives. Over the years, we’ve experienced destinations around the world and stayed in countless homes, each teaching us what elevates a stay from “nice” to truly memorable. Comfort, thoughtful details, privacy, and a sense of place matter — and we’ve designed our homes with those exact principles in mind.

Now, with a growing family of our own, those values mean even more. We understand how important it is to find places that feel welcoming, easy, and flexible — especially when traveling with family, friends, or pets. Our goal has always been to create spaces that we would genuinely want to stay in ourselves: homes that feel effortless, well cared for, and designed for connection.

Tower House Galena is a reflection of that philosophy. Set high in the rolling hills of the Galena Territory, the home was thoughtfully curated to blend luxury with livability. From its private heated saltwater pool — a rare offering in the area — to its expansive outdoor spaces, peaceful setting, and modern comforts, every element was chosen to enhance how guests experience their time together.

We love the Midwest and find ourselves returning often to places like Galena, not just for their beauty, but for the pace they invite — slower mornings, long conversations, and days that feel full without feeling rushed.
